Not so dusty

It is the epitome of a bush cliché. You can take the boy out of the bush, but you can’t take the bush out of the boy.
Whilst Slim no longer walks this fine country with us, his music resonates through the voices of fellow Aussie artists in “Not so dusty 2 – The bushies tribute to Slim Dusty”.
If you have sat around a gathering, beer in hand and family a mass you will know what I’m talking about.
Anne Kirkpatrick and Nulla Records have dusted off their boots, shaken out their hats and truly reflected Australian Country music and Slim Dusty with this album.
It has up to 30 of the best, with songs that were written and sung by Slim, to a couple of tribute songs created in his memory.
From the sweet songstress sounds of The Fying Emus to the deep and sad song “I never cried for Elvis but I shed a tear for Slim” by Merv Webster. There is something in this collection for every country guy and gal at heart.
