Making sushi smoked salmon and avocado rice balls
MAKING sushi is an art form and now you can bring the technique home with Chef Nico’s smoked salmon and avocado rice balls. Why pay top dollar for sushi when you can have fun making it at home?
It’s relatively simple to assemble, is a healthy alternative to other snack foods and tastes delicious. Why not impress dinner guests with sushi appetisers or save them for a Zen afternoon snack. You and your figure will love them!
Ingredients:
2 cups sushi rice, rinsed
5 tsp all-purpose seafood seasoning
1/2 avocado, peeled, stone removed
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/2 carrot, finely chopped
1/4 cucumber, finely chopped
50g sliced smoked salmon, chopped
3/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted
soy sauce, to serve
